Dagur Örn Fjeldsted – Freshman Forward – Kópavogur, Iceland – Breiðablik UBK

Fjeldsted arrives in Orlando after competing professionally in Iceland with Breiðablik UBK, one of the country’s premier clubs.

Born in Reykjavík and raised in Kópavogur, Fjeldsted developed within Breiðablik’s system and was part of the club’s league-winning squad in Iceland. He also gained experience on the European stage, appearing in the UEFA Conference League during his time with the club.

On the international level, Fjeldsted has represented Iceland at both the U19 and U21 levels, earning valuable experience against top European youth competition.

Standing at 5-foot-11, the forward brings pace, directness, and versatility to UCF’s frontline. Capable of playing wide or higher in the attack, he adds professional experience and international pedigree to the Knights’ incoming freshman class.

Fjeldsted is currently undecided on his academic major and cited UCF’s competitive environment and strong overall program as key factors in his decision to join the Knights.
