GAINESVILLE, Florida - The UCF men’s golf team returns to action this weekend at the VyStar Credit Union Gators Invitational, set for February 14–15 at Mark Bostick Golf Course in Gainesville, Florida.

The par-70 course, which stretches 6,700 yards, sits just a mile from the University of Florida campus and will test the Knights against an array of formidable opponents on in-state grass.

UCF enters the weekend riding momentum after a fourth-place finish at the Sea Best Invitational in Atlantic Beach, Florida, highlighted by a standout performance from senior Chase Haygood. Haygood captured first-place honors after firing a six-under-par final round and a playoff win on hole three, securing his second career collegiate victory.

The Knights finished the event at two-under-par (566), trailing only Texas A&M, UNCW, and Florida. Haygood’s win and Clemente Silva’s first top-10 finish of the season helped the team surge on the second day, and Palmer Haynes broke into the top 20 with a four-under-par final round.

With confidence building and multiple players trending upward, the Knights will look to keep the ball rolling into Gainesville as they find themselves in another competitive tournament.

The field consists of multiple top-25 programs, including No. 2 Auburn, hosts No. 10 Florida, No. 12 Oklahoma State, and No. 21 Penn State.

Below are the qualifying criteria and selection criteria for those that did and did not qualify, that we used for this tournament. The qualifying requirement for this tournament was three-under-par for the three rounds of qualifying.
