ORLANDO – With the 2026 seasons set to get underway next month, Knight Nation will get an opportunity to meet the UCF baseball and softball teams on Saturday, Jan 31 at Fan Fest. The annual event will run that afternoon from 2:30-4:30 p.m. at John Euliano Park and will be free of charge.

Those in attendance will be able to enjoy Knightro’s Kid Zone, which features inflatables and other experiences fans can expect throughout the season, as well as guided locker room, traditions room, and club level tours. Fans will also be able to test their skills in the bullpen and batting cages with UCF baseball and softball players and coaches as well as play catch on the field with some of their favorite players. Ticket office staff will also be on site to help with any ticketing needs for the 2026 seasons.
Autographs with select student-athletes from both teams will run through the event on the main concourse. A full timeline and schedule of events will be available at a later date.
The event will mark the conclusion of a busy day in the Kingdom. The day will begin with a block party on East Plaza Drive from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. and will be followed by men’s basketball taking on No. 14 Texas Tech in the team’s annual Space Game at noon at Addition Financial Arena. Baseball and Softball Fan Fest will cap the day.
UCF softball will kick off its 2026 season by hosting the annual Black and Gold Classic Feb. 5-8 at the UCF Softball Complex. The Knights will open against Boston University (3 p.m.) and CSU Bakersfield (6 p.m.) on Feb. 5, before taking on Duke, Maryland (twice) and Buffalo later in the weekend. In total, UCF softball will host 35 home games at The Plex in 2026.
The Black and Gold baseball team will get its 2026 campaign underway Feb. 13-15 at John Euliano Park with a three-game series against Siena. Opening Knight is set for Friday, Feb. 13 at 6 p.m. In all, Knights baseball will play a total of 30 home games in 2026 with 22 of the 30 contests coming against opponents that competed in the 2025 NCAA Tournament which features reigning Men’s College World Series participants Arizona and Murray State.
