UCF will play 14 games against seven Sunshine State opponents, hosting South Florida for a three-game set and FGCU, Miami, Stetson, Jacksonville and Bethune-Cookman for midweek matchups. Last season the Knights went 9-4 against in-state opponents.
The Black and Gold will open the season at home against Siena Feb.13-15. This will mark the second consecutive season the Saints will be the Knights’ opening opponent and the 12th in program history. Following the opening series, UCF travels to Coral Gables to face Miami on Feb.17 for the first of two midweek matchups. The Hurricanes capped their 2025 season with a 35-27 record and a trip to the Louisville Super Regional.
The Knights will then head to Jacksonville to participate in the third annual Live Like Lou Jax Classic Feb. 20-22. The three-day classic kicks off with UCF facing off against Notre Dame on Feb. 20. The Black and Gold will then play Indiana for the first time in program history on Feb. 21 and will conclude the event by taking on the defending Men’s College World Series champion LSU Tigers on Feb. 22. The Tigers had a dominant 2025 season with a 53-15 overall record and a 19-11 record in the SEC. Following the regular season, LSU breezed through the NCAA Tournament and swept Coastal Carolina in the best-of-three final to claim their eighth national championship.
UCF will remain in Jacksonville after the Jax Classic to face the JU Dolphins on Feb. 24. The flurry of Florida teams continues when the Knights return to John Euliano Park to host USF Feb. 27- March 1. The all-time series is currently deadlocked at 84-84, with the Black and Gold taking the 2025 series 2-1 in Tampa, run-ruling the Bulls in the final two games of the series. FGCU comes to visit on March 4 for a midweek matchup before the Knights host Murray State March 6-8 for a weekend series. The Racers finished 2025 with a 44-17 overall record and were crowned Missouri Valley Conference Champions. Murray State’s conference championship earned them a 2025 Division I Baseball Championship berth where they advanced all the way to the College World Series before being eliminated by UCLA.
The season-long 12-game homestand continues with a second midweek game against Miami on March 11. The Black and Gold will then open Big 12 play at home, hosting Oklahoma State March 13-15. The Cowboys capped their 2025 season with a visit to the Athens Regional. To wrap the homestand another NCAA Tournament participant will visit John Euliano Park, with Columbia visiting for a single-game matchup on March 17. Columbia participated in the Hattiesburg Regional after claiming the 2025 Ivy League title.
After the long homestand, UCF will hit the road and face TCU March 20-22 in Fort Worth. The Horned Frogs were the runner ups in the conference tournament and one of eight Big 12 teams selected to play in the 2025 NCAA Tournament, earning their 18th appearance within the last 21 seasons. The Knights then make a quick stop in DeLand to face the Stetson Hatters on March 24 to cap a four-game road stretch. The Black and Gold currently boast an 83-53 lead in the all-time series against Stetson.
Big 12 play continues when Arizona visits John Euliano Park March 27-29. The Wildcats are the reigning Big 12 champions, claiming the title in their first season in the conference. Their conference championship earned them an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament and saw them advance all the way to the College World Series.
The Black and Gold will continue the tough stretch by traveling to University Park, Pennsylvania to face Penn State on April 1. The Nittany Lions finished ninth in the Big 10 in 2025 with a 15-15 conference record. The road trip continues as the Knights face the Big 12 regular-season champion West Virginia Mountaineers in Morgantown April 3-5. The Mountaineers finished their 2025 campaign with a 44-16 regular season record and a 19-9 conference record. WVU participated in the Clemson Regional and advanced to the Baton Rouge Super Regional where they were eliminated by LSU. Following the weekend series, UCF will host the Stetson for a midweek matchup on April 7.
The Knights then head to Lawrence, Kansas to face the Jayhawks April 10-12. In 2025, Kansas finished second in the conference with a 20-10 Big 12 record and a 43-16 regular season record, with their 43 wins tying a program record. KU capped its season with a visit to the NCAA Fayette Regional, their first tournament appearance since 2014.
Following the trip, UCF heads back to Orlando to open a four-game homestand. It begins with a midweek matchup against Jacksonville on April 14 before Big 12 foe Cincinnati visits April 17-19. The Bearcats went 33-26 in 2025 with a 16-14 conference record. The highlight of their 2025 campaign was a berth to the Knoxville Regional, their first trip to the NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament since 2019. The series will mark a conclusion of seven consecutive weekend series against 2025 NCAA Tournament teams. The Knights will continue the gauntlet with another 2025 tournament participant, challenging Bethune-Cookman on the road in Daytona Beach April 21. The Wildcats won their first SWAC championship in 2025, earning them a spot in the Tallahassee Regional. UCF holds a commanding 89-17 lead in the all-time series.
The road trip continues as the Black and Gold face Utah April 24-26. The Utes finished with a 21-29 overall record and an 8-22 conference record in 2025. UCF will then face Stetson for the third and final time of the season at a to-be-determined location on April 29. When the Hatters leave, the Knights will play their 13th different NCAA Tournament participant when Arizona State comes to town May 1-3. The weekend series will mark the first meeting between the two programs.
The Black and Gold face their seventh and final Sunshine State opponent when they travel to Boca Raton to face FAU on May 5. The Knights currently lead the all-time series 50-42. The Knights will then play their final road series of the season, challenging the Baylor Bears in Waco May 8-10. The Bears went 33-22 in 2025 and are currently deadlocked 3-3 with the Knights in the all-time series.
The Knights travel home to close out the season, starting their final week with a midweek matchup against Bethune-Cookman May 12 before hosting Kansas State May 14-16 for the regular season finale. The Wildcats finished sixth in the Big 12 in 2025 with a 17-13 conference record, earning their second NCAA Tournament bid in as many seasons.
The Big 12 Baseball Tournament Presented by Allstate will be held for the first time in Surprise, Arizona at Surprise Stadium. Surprise Stadium is the spring training home of the Texas Rangers and Kansas City Royals. The 2026 Big 12 Tournament will showcase the top 12 teams in the conference and will run May 20-23.
The Knights finished their 2025 campaign with a 29-26 overall record and a 9-21 Big 12 conference clip.
