Awoudor Earns United Soccer Coaches Division I All-America Third Team Status

ORLANDO – As announced by the organization Friday, UCF men’s soccer senior midfielder Clarence Awoudor has been tabbed to the United Soccer Coaches’ 2025 Division I All-America third team.

The honor represents the Saint-Lo, France, native’s first career All-America selection, as well as the program’s first All-America appointment since Yanis Leerman (2020-21). Awoudor also becomes just the 10th player in program history to earn United Soccer Coaches All-America status.

Awoudor joins just 34 other members split between the United Soccer Coaches’ 2025 Division I All-America first, second and third teams.

His recognition is well-deserved after the midfielder enjoyed a career year throughout his fourth and final year of collegiate eligibility, posting single-season career-bests in matches played (21), goals (7), assists (15), shot attempts (62), and shots on goal (28).

His 15 assists notably set a new program single season record and were good for a share of the top spot in the nation entering play December 12 with Portland’s Diego Rosas.

He started each of UCF’s 21 matches this fall, playing a total of 1,808 minutes on the pitch while playing the full 90 minutes 17 times, including all 104 minutes of the Knights’ 3-2 double-overtime Sun Belt tournament quarterfinal comeback win over fourth-seeded Georgia Southern Nov. 9.

Awoudor also ranked among individual Sun Belt Conference leaders in assists per game (0.71, 1st), total points (29, 3rd), points per game (1.38, 3rd), shot attempts per game (2.95, 3rd), shots on goal per game (1.33, 3rd), shot accuracy (.452, 4th), and total goals (7, T-7th) upon the conclusion of UCF’s season.

He registered at least one point in 14 of UCF’s 21 total matches, multiple points in nine contests, and at least three points twice, and this fall netted his first career brace in leading UCF to a 3-1 win over Coastal Carolina in its regular-season home finale.

The third-year Knight earned a spot on the Sun Belt Conference’s All-Tournament team with a goal and an assist during the conference tournament, netting the Knights’ first of three goals in their comeback win over the Eagles and assisting Ricol’s game-winner in the championship match against third-seeded then-No. 12 Marshall.

For his efforts, Awoudor earned an invitation to the MLS 2025 College Showcase in Mesa, Arizona, from Dec. 10-13, with the 2026 MLS SuperDraft set for Thursday, Dec. 18 beginning at 2 p.m.

He concludes his collegiate career having played 66 matches between his time at UCF and Oregon State in 2022, totaling 17 goals, 28 assists, five game-winning goals, 146 shot attempts, and 61 shots on goal.
