Knights in the NFL: Week 14

ORLANDO - As week 14 of NFL play comes to a close, several UCF alumni had their best week yet.

The Broncos secured a ten-game win streak following their victory against the Raiders Sunday 24-17. Rookie RJ Harvey was a dominant force for the offense, setting a new career high with a 100-yard game. The running back garnered 75 rushing yards, and brought home yet another rushing touchdown for Denver.

Harvey now leads the Broncos in overall touchdowns with nine under his belt. Denver currently leads the AFC West with a record of 11-2.

The Bills had a strong showing against the Bengals, securing the win in the 4th quarter 39-34. Kicker Matt Prater was instrumental in the victory, securing a field goal and going 4/4 on extra points for a flawless performance. This brings Prater's total points scored for the season to a whopping 92 points. With his consistency on the field, Prater is just 14 points away from being Florida’s all-time leading scorer in the NFL.

Wide receiver Gabe Davis also had a strong showing for Buffalo on Sunday. Amidst the snow, the receiver had two receptions for 21 yards. With this latest victory, Buffalo sits at the number two spot in the AFC East, sitting under the Patriots.

Though the Falcons lost to the Seahawks on Sunday, it was a standout defensive performance for cornerback Mike Hughes. Hughes secured six solo tackles over the course of the game including one for a loss of yards. The cornerback's standout moment occurred when he intercepted a deflected ball.
