ORLANDO - After competing across 21 tournaments on the Hotel Planner Tour, with the journey starting back in February 2025, former Knight Clement Charmasson has qualified for the DP World Tour.
The achievement is the result of months of strong play from the French native, battling through challenging courses across Europe to secure a 19th-place finish on tour to secure one of 20 bids to the 2026 DP World Tour, the highest level of professional golf in Europe.
Charmasson, who was a standout in Black and Gold from 2018-22, found his footing after claiming the top spot at the Challenge De España in May, climbing up the rankings into ninth. Three top-10 finishes since have kept him among the top-20, which is all that was needed to punch his ticket onto the European Tour.
At the Rolex Grand Final in Spain this past weekend, Charmasson placed 21st overall to secure 38.3 points and officially cemented his name 19th in the overall rankings with 703.6 points.
In Orlando, the Toulouse, France, native was a pillar for the program for four seasons, highlighted by his junior campaign, which saw him named to the American Athletic All-Conference Team after placing fifth at the tournament.
Charmasson will have a short break before commencing action at the BMW Australian PGA Championship later this month, the first of 40 potential events that lead up to the DP World Tour Play-Offs in Dubai.
