ORLANDO - UCF Athletics and Love, Tito’s, the philanthropic arm of Tito’s Handmade Vodka, teamed up to deliver Thanksgiving meals to local families on Tuesday through the 2025 “Tito’s Tackles for Turkeys” program.
This year’s campaign, which supports pre-cooked Thanksgiving meals for underserved families in the Orlando area, began with a $10,000 gift from Tito’s. For every tackle for loss recorded by the Knights’ defense during the season, Tito’s pledged a $200 donation to help provide meals, allowing the program to serve up to 125 families.
Members of Varsity Knights, UCF’s student-athlete alumni organization, joined the Tito’s team to distribute 125 pre-made meal kits near the UCF Downtown campus. Each kit served 8 to 10 people, helping families across the community enjoy a holiday dinner together.
“We’re grateful for the opportunity to work alongside UCF Athletics once again and help ensure more Floridians have a warm meal to gather around this Thanksgiving,” said Jessica Montano, Field Sales Manager at Tito’s Handmade Vodka. “Supporting programs that lift up our communities is at the heart of what we do, and we’re honored to play a part in making the holiday season a little brighter for families across Orlando.”
The 2025 turkey drive highlighted the power of teamwork, generosity, and community spirit, as volunteers, sponsors, and supporters came together to make a meaningful difference for Orlando families this holiday season.
