ORLANDO – The UCF men’s basketball program announced the signing of Donovan Williams to its 2026-27 roster on Wednesday.
Williams, a 6-foot-3 combo guard from Orlando, joins the Knights as one of the most dynamic prospects in the Class of 2026. A 3-star recruit, he carries an 87 rating and a 0.9299 composite score from 247Sports. He is ranked the No. 20 combo guard in his class by 247Sports, while On3 lists him as the No. 147 overall recruit and the No. 27 point guard nationally. Williams spent last season at Oak Hill Academy (Va.), and both major recruiting outlets rank him among the top 15 prospects in the state, underscoring his steady development and strong play across multiple elite programs.
The Orlando native returns home with considerable momentum. Williams will play his senior season at Oak Ridge High School after a standout summer on the Nike EYBL circuit, where he averaged 17.4 points, 4.0 assists and 6.2 rebounds per game. His versatility, scoring ability and positional size make him a high-impact addition for UCF, while his court vision and defensive upside provide long-term value within the program.
Williams brings high-level competitive experience and deep local ties, strengthening the Knights’ future foundation as he prepares to suit up in the Black and Gold.
