ORLANDO – UCF freshman forward Tyra Eriksen has been named to Top Drawer Soccer’s Midseason Top 100 Freshmen Player Rankings as announced by the organization.

The freshman from Umeå, Sweden, debuted at No. 58 on the list. Teammate Jada Silvest was also recognized by Top Drawer Soccer on the week, as the redshirt sophomore defender was listed as No. 80 on the organization’s Midseason Top 100 Player Ranking list.

Eriksen was named as one of the nation’s top 100 freshmen after scoring one goal and also recording a pair of assists so far during her debut season at the college level. She has tallied a total of 13 shots with four shots coming on target on the year.

The freshman striker has played in all 12 matches for the Knights with eight starts. She has logged 642 total minutes on the pitch so far on the season.

Eriksen has been key in helping the Black and Gold to an 8-2-2 record on the year and a 2-1-2 Big 12 Conference mark to currently sit in sixth place in the league standings.

Eriksen is one of 13 players from the Big 12 to qualify for the ranking.

This ranking includes the highest ranked freshmen college soccer players in the nation and will be updated weekly.

Eriksen and the Knights will hit the road this weekend to open a three-match road swing at Cincinnati on Sunday at 12 p.m. ET. The game will be streamed live on ESPN+.
