ORLANDO – UCF baseball has been ranked as the No. 12 recruiting class according to the 2025 Perfect Game College Recruit Rankings. The Knights welcomed 30 newcomers to the squad for the 2025-26 academic year, with 13 freshmen and 17 transfers. Of the 13 freshmen, three of them are top 250 recruits.
Perfect Game ranked the top 100 schools of the 2025 recruiting class. Rankings are based on high school player rankings, with a point value assigned to a recruit’s national ranking. The Black and Gold’s No. 12 designation is good enough for second in the Big 12 Conference and second in the state of Florida, just behind Miami at No. 6. The Big 12 occupies seven of the top 50 recruiting classes, with Oklahoma State standing at the top of the conference with a No. 7 ranking and one top 100 recruit.
UCF baseball will officially open its fall practice on Thursday, Oct. 2. The Knights will also play a full slate of exhibitions and intersquad scrimmages with the team’s first fall game coming on Oct. 11 against FIU in Key West. For more information on UCF baseball’s fall schedule, click HERE.
