ORLANDO - Heading into week three of NFL play, several alumni made their presence felt across the league. From kicking field goals to key defensive plays, four Knights stood out amongst the crowd.
Bills kicker Matt Prater had another strong week as the team faced the Miami Dolphins in Buffalo. Prater had flawless execution when it came to extra points, converting all four attempts throughout the matchup. With the Bills leading 28-21, Prater was called out for one more field goal attempt. The 41-year-old successfully made the 48-yard kick, giving the Bills a two-possession lead with 22 seconds left in the game. Prater accounted for seven points throughout the game, helping secure the win 31-21.
Rookie running back RJ Harvey saw action in the passing game against the Chargers, ranking second on the team in receptions throughout the game. Harvey got his hands on the ball on five separate occasions throughout the game. Though the Broncos fell by three points, Harvey caught all three of his targets for a gain of 14 yards.
While the Falcons had a difficult week in Charlotte as they faced the Panthers, Mike Hughes presented a solid defensive effort. The seasoned cornerback secured three tackles (one solo and two assisted) building on the momentum from his week two performance.
49ers defensive tackle Kalia Davis rounded out the Knights’ standout performances with two assisted tackles in San Francisco's game against the Cardinals. In a close match up, the 49ers pulled ahead in the 4th quarter to win 16-15.
