Men's Hoops Adds LSU Exhibition to 2025-26 Schedule

by Jenna VanHoose

ORLANDO – The UCF men’s basketball team has added an additional exhibition to its 2025-26 schedule, as the Knights will host LSU on Sunday, Oct. 26 at noon inside Addition Financial Arena. The matchup, announced Thursday, will serve as UCF’s first home appearance of the season, coming just five days after head coach Johnny Dawkins’ return to Cameron Indoor Stadium for an exhibition meeting with Duke.

This will be the first time in program history that the Knights will welcome the Tigers to Addition Financial Arena. The two teams met for their first-ever regular-season matchup this past season. LSU came out on top in a triple overtime thriller, 109-102, at the inaugural Greenbrier Tip-Off in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia.

Following the exhibition, fans will have the opportunity to meet the Knights. Details on the postgame meet-and-greet with the team will be announced in the coming weeks.

UCF is set to open the regular season at home on November 3 against Hofstra. The Knights’ non-conference slate features nine home games, one true road contest and a pair of neutral-site matchups.

In Big 12 play, UCF will host Arizona, Arizona State, Baylor, Kansas, TCU and Texas Tech as “home only” opponents. The Black and Gold will battle Cincinnati, Oklahoma State and West Virginia twice, hosting and visiting the trio of programs. BYU, Colorado, Houston, Iowa State, Kansas State and Utah make up the Knights’ half dozen exclusive conference road games. Dates for UCF’s Big 12 conference schedule will be announced in the near future.
