ORLANDO – Kinga Kusmierska, an incoming freshman for the UCF women’s golf team, made history Thursday by winning the 13th ANNIKA Invitational Europe Championship, becoming the first in school history to accomplish such a feat.

Kusmierska won the event with a birdie on hole 18 at Bokskogens Golf Club in Bara, Sweden.

The Poland native carded an even 72 in the first round of the tournament and proceeded to kick it up a notch in round two recording seven birdies (66, -6) to take first place.

Going into the last round with a three-shot lead, she stayed steady after carding a bogey in the first round but finished strong on the back nine with three birdies to clinch the first-place spot.

With the win, Kusmierska earned an invitation to the 2026 Women’s Amateur Championship plus an invitation to compete at the Hilton Grand Vacations ANNIKA Invitational presented by ROLEX.

The 2026 Women’s Amateur Championship will be held at The Honors Course in Ooltewah, Tennessee from August 3-9. As for the Hilton Grand Vacations ANNIKA Invitational presented by Rolex, it hasn’t announced dates or location for next year.
