Women's Hoops Unveils Big 12 Schedule Matrix

by Jenna VanHoose

ORLANDO - In conjunction with the Big 12 Conference, the UCF women’s basketball team announced the schedule matrix for the 2025-26 season on Wednesday.

Highlighted by nine games against teams that participated in the 2025 NCAA tournament, the Knights will play 18 conference games, facing six teams solely at home, six on the road and three both home and away.

UCF will host BYU, Utah, Colorado, Kansas, Kansas State and the reigning Big 12 champ, TCU. Colorado and Utah will make the trip to Addition Financial Arena for the first time in program history.

The Knights will head out on the road to Arizona, Arizona State, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, Houston and Iowa State. UCF will be visiting Tucson and Phoenix for the first time.

The Black and Gold are set for a home and away tilt with Baylor, Cincinnati and West Virginia.

In just their third year in the Big 12, the Knights travel to Morgantown and Houston for the third consecutive season. UCF welcomes Kansas State to the City Beautiful for the third year in a row.

Opponents were selected based on a combination of geography, historical results and a poll of the coaches to best balance the schedule in terms of travel and competitiveness.

A full Big 12 and non-conference schedule will be released at a later date.
