ORLANDO – Making their sixth consecutive (excluding the 2019-20 season due to COVID) NCAA Regional appearance, the UCF women’s golf team continued to soar in the 2024-25 season.
The Knights once again recorded seven top-5 finishes, tying the record from last season for the most since the 2013-14 season. The seven tournaments include Illini Women’s Invitational (4th), Mercedes-Benz Intercollegiate (4th), Landfall Tradition (5th), PDI Intercollegiate (4th), Gators Invitational (4th), Valspar Invitational (2nd) and Veritex Bank Collegiate (5th).
Pimpisa “Sandwich” Sisutham continued her strong college career, racking up five top-10 finishes. The junior’s best finish came at the Gators Invitational, where she placed second with a 54-hole score of 207 (-3). With a 10th-place finish at the Big 12 Championship, she earned a spot on the Big 12 All-Tournament Team. The Thai native rounded out the season with the lowest average on the squad (71.8).
Molly Smith joins Sisutham with five top-10 finishes as she just missed the cut by five strokes to be the individual on a non-advancing team that heads to the NCAA Championship. The sophomore tied for third place on three occasions (Illini, Valspar and Veritex).
Mila Jurine played in all 32 rounds in just her rookie season. The freshman tallied six top 25 finishes with her best finish at the Landfall Tradition (9th).
