ORLANDO – The UCF men’s golf team is set to head to North Carolina for its regular season finale at the Tarheel Intercollegiate in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, April 12-13. The event will occur at the prestigious Finley Golf Course, renowned for its challenging layout and rich collegiate golf history.
The Knights head into the tournament on a hot streak as they have finished in the top three in the past three tournaments. The Black and Gold’s streak started at the Daytona Beach Intercollegiate, tying for third place followed by a first-place finish at the ECU Intercollegiate and runner-up at the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate.
The Tarheel Intercollegiate field consists of 14 teams and 80 players (10 individuals). The Black and Gold will face off against #9 North Carolina (host), Campbell, Davidson, #16 Duke, Elon, Gardner-Webb, Jacksonville, Kennesaw State, Michigan State, Middle Tennessee State, Richmond, Stetson and VCU.
The Knights’ lineup will consist of Chase Haygood, Clemente Silva, Jakob Stubhaug, Hans Risvear and Lucas Dutarte. The five spots were coaches' picks determined by all the data points shown below.
