ORLANDO - Following a dominating weekend sweep to propel the Knights back on course, the UCF women’s tennis team jumped two places in the latest ITA Rankings, checking in at No. 17.
Along with keeping pace atop the Big 12, the Black and Gold continue to fire off wins in what has been the most successful 19-match stretch under head coach Bryan Koniecko. Brilliant home form has made the USTA National Campus a fortress, with the squad’s 12-0 record in Orlando mirroring the 2021 team that won their first 15 home matches.

The Knights remain second among conference teams in the top-25, with Texas Tech slotting in at 15th, followed by Oklahoma State at No. 20. Baylor sits just outside at 27th, as seven more teams make up the top-75.
With just three matches remaining until the Big 12 Championship later this month, UCF has just one ranked matchup left, traveling west to face No. 55 BYU in the penultimate match.
A pair of Knights slotted into the top-100 singles rankings, with recently minted member of the century club, Sophia Biolay, landing at No. 95. The senior is currently riding a 13-match win streak, becoming the fourth player in program history to achieve the feat.
Just three placed behind her, reigning Big 12 freshman of the year Olivia Lincer checks in at No. 98, as the Polish native has continued to lead the Knights’ singles display with a 6-1 record on court one.
Lincer’s presence in the rankings wasn’t just bound to singles as, alongside Hannah Rylatt, the tandem climbed 11 spots to No. 19 in the doubles edition. Having bested four ranked opponents this season, the duo boasts a 6-3 record on court one for the Knights.
