Women's Golf Rounds Out Gators Invitational in Fourth Place

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Pimpisa “Sandwich” Sisutham turned in yet another strong performance earning her third consecutive top-two finish at the Gators Invitational, placing second with a score of 207 (-3).


The Knights finished the 54-hole tournament with a score of 859 (+19). UCF’s fourth-place finish marks its fifth this season. 


Sisutham turned in a 70 to wrap up round three with two birdies along with going bogey-free from hole No. 1 through No. 8. The junior has brought home hardware every year since her freshman year with back-to-back first-place finishes. 


Mila Jurine recorded a 69 (-1) to close out the Gators Invitational tied for 17th place with a score of 215 (+5). The freshman tallied three birdies on the back nine and bogey-free in eight out of nine holes on the front nine. 


Molly Smith notched a 75 (+5) in the final round at Mark Bostick Golf Course and finished T31 (221, +11).


Jamie Camero and One Kashima rounded out the Knights lineup placing in the top 50. Camero completed 54 holes finishing T38 with a score of 223 (+13). Kashima ended the day T43 on the player leaderboard, carding a 225 (+15).


UCF heads outside the Sunshine State for the first time this spring season with a two-day tournament in Augusta, Georgia. Augusta will host the Knights for the Valspar Invitational March 15-16 at Forest Hills Country Club.
