ORLANDO – The Big 12 Conference and its television partners – ESPN and FOX – today announced that UCF’s game against Houston this upcoming season has been moved to Friday, Nov. 7. Originally set for Saturday, Nov. 8, the move to Friday night provides a national stage for the Knights as they continue their undefeated streak in the celebrated Space Game tradition.
Recognizing its significance and impact, the conference and its TV partners made the decision to flex this matchup to Friday night, ensuring that a national audience can experience one of college football’s most distinctive and celebrated game-day environments.
Since its introduction in 2017, UCF has been perfect in the Space Game, boasting an 8-0 record while honoring the university’s deep-rooted connection to the space industry. The game has evolved into a marquee event, drawing widespread attention for its unique theme and electric atmosphere.
UCF will now look to extend its perfect record in the event. Fans can expect an electric atmosphere at FBC Mortgage Stadium, with special space-themed uniforms, in-game tributes, and a celebration of UCF’s legacy in space exploration.
The Knights are set to begin Spring Practice next week under new head coach Scott Frost at the Wayne Densch Practice Complex.
