ORLANDO – After leading the Big 12 Conference in scoring during league play, UCF men’s basketball junior Keyshawn Hall has been named to the NABC All-District Second Team in the southeast district.
The nod adds to the pair of conference honors Hall earned a week ago, finding a spot on the All-Newcomer Team and All-Big 12 Second Team. The 2024-25 campaign marks the second season in a row that Hall has been named to an All-District squad; he was named NABC All-District First Team while at George Mason last season.
The NABC introduced a new model for its Division I district alignment this season, with schools arranged by state rather than by conference. The modernized NABC Division I district alignment features 10 geographic regions that each encompass multiple states. Every Division I school in each given state belongs to that state’s corresponding district. UCF’s district is composed of the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida and Mississippi.
Hall is the first Knight to be named to an NABC All-District Team since B.J. Taylor earned a first team nod in 2018-19. Overall, Hall is the fifth member of the Black and Gold to earn the honor in program history, joining Taylor, Keith Clanton (2011-12 and 2012-13), Isaiah Sykes (2012-13) and Jermaine Taylor (2008-09), all first team nods.
Hall has been spectacular this season and finished the regular season with a share of the conference’s regular season scoring title at 18.5 points per game, posting 572 points. He led the Big 12 in scoring during league play, averaging 20.3 points per game in conference games. Hall had 14 performances of 20 or more points in the regular season, including three 30-point outings, one of which was a 40-point showing at Arizona State, the third highest scoring performance in UCF’s Division-I history. Hall added a pair of 20+ point outings at the Big 12 Conference Championship, posting 23 against Utah in the first round before scoring 25 while hauling in 11 rebounds against Kansas in the second round.
