MELBOURNE, Fla. – The UCF women’s golf team dropped six spots in the team leaderboard to end the second day of competition in eighth place at the Moon Golf Invitational.
Florida State is the lone leader carding an under-par team performance for two consecutive days with a team score of three under par.
Three Knights lead the pack in 21st place which includes Molly Smith, Mila Jurine and Pimpisa “Sandwich” Sisutham. Smith and Jurine each recorded a 75 (+3) in the second round, accounting for two birdies apeice. Sisutham tallied a 76 (+4) with two birdies on the front nine.
One Kashima led the day off with a birdie on hole No. 1 and finished the day with three for a round two score of 75 (+3). Kashima sits in 52nd place following day two.
Katie Poots also carded a 75 (+3) to end round two in 67th place.
Round three of the Moon Golf Invitaitonal at Suntree Country Club will feature a 9 a.m. shotgun start. The Knights are paired with Auburn and Texas.
