ORLANDO, FLA. - With a promising fall slate in the rear-view mirror, the UCF women’s tennis program is finalizing its preparation for an exciting 2025 campaign. Monday afternoon, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced that the Knights will be entering the new season ranked 25th in the nation.

The Knights are one of two Big 12 programs to feature in the first 25 of the year, with Oklahoma State slotting in at fourth in the country.

It marks the third time under head coach Bryan Koniecko the Black and Gold have opened the season ranked and continues a prominent stretch among the nation’s best. Dating back to 2017, the Knights have been ranked in each season, along with a top-25 appearance in each year dating back to 2018.

With the home-opening twin-bill just under two weeks away on Sunday, January 19, against Georgia Southern and Bethune-Cookman, UCF will look to take care of business ahead of ITA Kickoff Weekend in Los Angeles at No. 5 UCLA.
