ORLANDO - The UCF women's golf team will kick off its spring season by hosting the PDI intercollegiate at Eagle Creek Golf Club from February 2 to 4. The partnership with Player Development Index (PDI) aims to enhance the team's performance by focusing on contributing to long-term success.
The Knights will compete in five spring tournaments before entering the Big 12 championship, slated for April 14-17 at Houston Oaks Country Club in Houston, Texas.
Last year, the Knights tied for fourth at the UCF Challenge, with a standout performance from Molly Smith finishing in second place. Now renamed the PDI Intercollegiate, the tournament gives UCF another shot to shine on its home course and build on last year’s success.
The tournament layout will be three rounds of stroke play for a total of 54 holes of golf in three days. Eagle Creek’s Course measures 6,392 yards and is a par 72.
The Knights will compete in the PDI Intercollegiate against Augusta, Baylor, Central Arkansas, Charleston, Duke, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana Monroe, Mississippi State, Nebraska, North Carolina, Old Dominion, Penn State, Sacramento State, South Florida, and Tulsa.
The lineup for the PDI Intercollegiate will feature Molly Smith, Mila Jurine, Pimpisa Sisutham, Katie Poots and One Kashima with Jamie Camero and Caroline Nemes competing as individuals.
