UCF student-athletes recorded the highest departmental grade-point average in program history with a 3.43 in the fall of 2024, extending their record-setting streak of consecutive semesters with a 3.0 in the classroom to 34—including 11 consecutive semesters with a 3.3 or higher mark.
After compiling a 3.42 GPA in the 2024 spring semester, tying for the highest semester GPA in program history, Knights student-athletes answered the challenge to set a program record during the 2024 fall semester with a 3.43.
More than 70% of student-athletes posted a GPA of 3.0 or higher in the spring semester—and 60 earned a perfect 4.0 GPA.
The academic statistics are based on 418 student-athletes listed on UCF rosters this past semester with 174 named to the Dean’s List, 98 tabbed to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and 54 student-athletes on the President’s List.
UCF has not turned in a semester below a 3.0 in nearly 20 years. The top 12 semester marks in school history have come over the last 15 semesters.
The women’s tennis team posted the highest overall GPA of any sport with a 3.79, just shy of the program-record 3.82 the squad tallied in the spring. The Knights’ men's soccer team recorded the highest GPA of UCF men's programs last fall with a 3.51, the second highest on record. The women’s soccer team tallied its highest GPA in program history with a 3.62, while volleyball and women’s golf were right behind with a 3.59 and a 3.58, respectively.
UCF’s baseball (3.47) and football (3.20) programs each tallied the highest GPAs in their history.
