ORLANDO – Following an historic regular-season campaign under first-year head coach Lloyd Bruce-Burgess, its first in the Big 12 Conference, the UCF men’s tennis team has secured a bid to the 2024 NCAA Men’s Tennis Tournament.

The Knights, who tallied an 18-4 regular season and a blazing 14-1 record out of the gates, will make the trip north to Florida State as the third seed in the Tallahassee Regional. Awaiting UCF will be a rematch with Florida, whom the third-seeded Knights will meet for the fourth time in the NCAA Tournament.
Tonight’s selection marks the seventh in program history and the first since 2021 when the Knights hosted the first two rounds following their fourth conference championship all-time.
Bruce-Burgess becomes the second head coach in program history to secure a bid to the NCAA Tournament in his first season leading the Knights.
Hosts Florida State claimed its first ACC Championship a weekend ago over Virginia, garnering the Seminoles a host sight for the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament.
Rounding out the Sunshine State field will be North Florida, which secured its third ASUN title and an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
