ORLANDO – The USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla. has been named the host site for the NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Championships across the next 10 years (starting during the 2028 season), USTA announced Monday afternoon.

We are thrilled to partner with the USTA as co-hosts for the NCAA Division I Tennis Championships. This is a testament to our community’s passion for sports and our commitment to providing an unforgettable experience for athletes and fans from all over. Being able to host prestigious events such as this over a 10-year period continues to shine the spotlight on Orlando as a premier sports destination while also strengthening our college athletics brand.

A premier tennis facility not just in the Orlando area, but across the country, will be solidified as the home of college tennis over the next decade. The decision aims to replicate similar models with the Men’s College World Series in Omaha and the Women’s edition in Oklahoma City.

With a previous release declaring the 2028 NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Tennis Championships would return to the USTA National Campus, the NCAA extended that honor for years to come.

As the NCAA Division I Individual Singles and Doubles Championships embark on a two-year pilot program in the fall, a return to the spring calendar would see the USTA National Campus welcome back over 100 of the top collegiate players in the nation.

Home of the UCF men’s and women’s tennis programs, led by Director of Tennis Brian Koniecko and men’s tennis head coach Lloyd Bruce-Burgess, the collegiate tennis center has authored an unforgettable experience for every team, player and fan that ventures to the facility since its opening 2017.

As the sport continues to grow, the broader partnership between the NCAA and USTA, in collaboration with UCF, will aim to promote the annual event to a wider audience and increase the fan engagement surrounding the championships.

USTA has pledged to make numerous infrastructure improvements in conjunction with the agreement, including six new indoor courts and a permanent shade structure over the viewing areas at the collegiate tennis center.

With the spring slate right around the corner, there will be plenty of action at the facility. The UCF men’s tennis team will open its 2025 campaign on Jan. 11 versus Louisiana and Elon, while the women welcome Georgia Southern and Bethune-Cookman on Jan. 19 for a home-opening doubleheader of its own.
