This afternoon, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association released the updated women's tennis rankings, which feature notable appearances by the UCF women’s tennis team.
Senior Sophia Biolay was ranked No. 85, maintaining her position in the top 100 from earlier this fall. Biolay boasted a record of 6-5 as the squad competed in multiple ITA events across the southeast.
In addition to Biolay’s success, another standout performance for the Knights came from doubles pairing Hannah Rylatt and Olivia Lincer. At the ITA Southeast Regionals, the two stood out, winning three consecutive matches. The pair made it to the semifinals before ultimately falling to Georgia. Following their strong performance, the pair found themselves ranked 65th in the nation, their first appearance together.
Strong outings from Biolay, Rylatt, and Lincer showcase the growth of the women's tennis team before it embarks on a second campaign in the Big 12.
