UCF Athletics Announces Rescheduled Events Impacted by Hurricane

by Justin Wilson

Following adjustments to this week’s home events schedule in anticipation of Hurricane Milton, UCF Athletics has rescheduled the impacted games.

Originally slated for Wednesday night, the UCF versus Colorado home volleyball match will now take place Sunday, Oct. 13, at noon inside The Venue.

UCF and Arizona have altered the location of Thursday’s (Oct. 10) women’s soccer match to the University of Houston’s Carl Lewis International Complex. The contest will begin at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT. The Wildcats are set to play at Houston Sunday and the Knights are scheduled to play at Colorado Sunday, so the teams agreed to play Thursday’s match at Houston.

Men’s soccer will host fifth-ranked Marshall at 5 p.m. Sunday at the UCF Soccer Complex instead of its originally scheduled matchup Friday night.

The men’s tennis ITA Southeast Regionals will now be held Saturday, Oct. 12 through Wednesday, Oct. 16 at USTA National Campus.

UCF’s Friday volleyball match versus Iowa State is still scheduled for 7 p.m. inside The Venue.

Saturday’s football game against Cincinnati remains slated for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff from FBC Mortgage Stadium.

Thursday’s Knight Talk Radio Show with UCF football head coach Gus Malzahn has been canceled.
