ORLANDO - The first of two home events during an enticing fall slate, the Knights are set to welcome a trio of Florida programs for the UCF Invite, hosted at the USTA National Campus. From Friday to Sunday, athletes from UCF, South Florida, Florida Atlantic and Stetson will compete in a collection of singles and doubles contests.

A week ago, three Knights commenced autumn action at the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Led by strong performances from Mehdi Benchakroun and Santiago Giamichelle, who secured three singles wins and an impressive doubles victory against an Ohio State tandem, UCF will see a wider variety of student-athletes competing this weekend.

Start Times:

  • Friday: 5:30 p.m.
  • Saturday: 1 p.m.
  • Sunday: 2 p.m.

There will be familiar faces competing alongside the Knights this weekend, as UCF is set to compete against each program during the spring season. Former conference mates, South Florida, will be joined by Florida Atlantic, who both dropped matches with the Black and Gold in Orlando earlier this year during the dual-match campaign. Stetson and UCF were set to meet in February before inclement weather canceled the bout.

This weekend's action will precede the much-anticipated ITA Southeast Regional Championships which will return to the USTA National Campus from Oct. 10-15.

Each day of action will be open to the public.
