Women's Golf Earns Another Top-Five Finish at Landfall Tradition

WILMINGTON, N.C. – The UCF women’s golf program wrapped up its fall slate of tournaments with another top-five finish at the Landfall Tradition Sunday afternoon. The Knights leaped two spots in the top leaderboard finishing in fifth place with an 868 (+4) overall.


Mila Jurine earned her first top-10 finish of the season in Wilmington, finishing at T9. She carded a 71 (-1) in the final round to complete the tournament at 215 (-1)—a relatively clean final round featuring four birdies and bogey-free on the back nine. 


Molly Smith finished second lowest for the Black and Gold, recording one under par to sit at T22 in the field. She sunk in three birdies and finished with an overall score of 218 (+2). 
 
Pimpisa “Sandwich” Sisutham recorded a 74 (+2) in the final round of the tournament to end T27 with a final score of 220 (+4). 
 
One Kashima turned in a 75 (+3) and notched three birdies on the day. The sophomore ended the tournament tied for 42nd place with a final score of 223 (+7). 


Katie Poots and Jamie Camero (individual) each finished the tournament tied for 48th place, finishing 224 (+8). 


UCF resumes its season with its annual home tournament at Eagle Creek Country Club February 2-4.
