Women's Golf Wraps Up Round Two at Landfall Tradition

WILMINGTON, N.C. – Following the second round of play at the Landfall Tradition, the UCF women’s golf team put together an impressive five-under-par performance to jump two spots to seventh place in the team leaderboard. 


Mila Jurine leads the Knights tied for 24th place as she carded a 69 (-3) on the day. The freshman recorded four consecutive birdies for a total of six birdies in the second round. After two rounds of play, Jurine carded a total score of 144 (E).


Pimpisa “Sandwich” Sisutham recorded a one-under-par 71 performance to land in T34. Katie Poots joined Sisutham in 34th place with a two-round score of 146 (+2). Sisutham tallied three birdies and back-to-back birdies on holes 16 and 17. 


After a tough first round, Molly Smith turned in a two-under-par performance, which puts her T40 in the player leaderboard with a score of 147 (+3). The sophomore rounded out the front nine with back-to-back birdies and went bogey-free through the back nine. 


One Kashima carded a 77 (+5) following round two at the Dye Course at the Country Club of Landfall. Kashima is tied for 47 in the field with a two-round score of 148 (+4).


Jamie Camero, competing as an individual, notched a 76 (+4) and is tied for 64th place with a two-round score of 151 (+7).


The Black and Gold will round out their fall season in the final round of the Landfall Tradition on Sunday, October 27 with an 8:45 a.m. shotgun start and will be paired with NC State and Maryland.
