Women's Golf in 9th Place Following First Round at Landfall Tradition

WILMINGTON, N.C. - The UCF women’s golf team opened up play at the Landfall Tradition on Friday and ended the first round tied in ninth-place. The Knights ended the day with a team score of 294 (+6).

One Kashima led the Black and Gold in the top 15 on the first day of play to tie for 13th place with a score of 71 (-1), recording four birdies through the 18 holes.  

Katie Poots was the next Knight on the leaderboard, T34. The sophomore recorded a score of 73 (+1).

Pimpisa Sisutham, Mila Jurine, and Jamie Camero ended the first day of play all tied for 52nd place. They each carded a score of 75 (+3). Jurine posted three birdies on the day. 

Rounding out the Black and Gold was Molly Smith. The sophomore tied for 70th place carding a score of 77 (+5). 

UCF will tee off in the second round of the Landfall Tradition on Saturday at 8:30 a.m.
