Women's Golf Finishes in 4th Place at Mercedes-Benz Intercollegiate

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The UCF women’s golf team closed out round three of the Merecedes-Benz Intercollegiate with a fourth-place finish. The Knights ended the tournament with a team score of 869 (+17). 


Leading the charge for the Knights was junior Pimpisa “Sandwich” Sisutham posted a 72 (+1) to tie for fourth place. Molly Smith joined Sisutham in the top 10 with a strong round three carding a 70 (-1) and moving up three spots in the player leaderboard to finish T7. Smith went bogey-free on the last eight holes of the day. Sisutham tied for third with 38 pars over three rounds of play. 

 One Kashima wrapped up the third round with a one-over 72 to tie for 22nd place. The sophomore tallied two birdies on the day. 
 
Mila Jurine finished the tournament tied for 42nd place carding a 76 (+5) in the final round. 


Jamie Camero rounded out day three with a 77 (+6) to finish T56. The freshman recorded back-to-back birdies on holes 15 and 16. 

Competiting as an individual, Katie Poots shot a 72 (+1) to tie for 22nd place. 
 
 
The Knights stay on the road heading to Wilmington, North Carolina for the Landfall Tradition on Friday, October 25 through Sunday, October 27.
