ORLANDO - The Knights cross country team is gearing up for its third appearance of the season this Friday, Oct. 18th, at the Bradley Pink Classic.

At the recent Pirate Invitational, junior Isabella Richardson delivered a standout performance, leading the pack to finish 23rd overall and running a 22:28.0 6k. Assistant coach Bryan Harmon also praised junior Kendall Hughes, who closely followed Richardson. Hughes secured a personal-best 22:35.5 in the 6k and placed 27th overall.

The squad garnered an impressive 6th-place finish in Greenville. Now, the Black and Gold are looking to build upon this momentum as they travel to Peoria, Illinois to compete in their second 6k in two weeks.

The race is set to take place at Newman Golf Course, featuring a challenging three-loop course with a mix of flat terrain and rolling hills. The Women’s 6k Red Invite Race is scheduled to start at 3:45 pm.

The Bradley Pink Classic will serve as the regular-season finale for the Knights, as they lace up their spikes for one final time before heading to the Big 12 Championships in November.
