Women's Golf wraps Up Round One At ANNIKA Intercollegiate

LAKE ELMO, Minn. – The UCF women’s golf team kicked off its opening round of the 2024-25 season at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate, as the Knights are tied for sixth with a 291 (+3) team score after the first day of competition at Royal Golf Club.

Pimpisa “Sandwich” Sisutham was the lone Knight to record an under-par performance, carding a 70 (-2). She ended the day tied for 13th in the player leaderboard. The junior tallied six birdies, which tied for second most in the field.

Sophomore Molly Smith turned in a 73 (+1) after a rough back nine, she picked it up on the front nine to go bogey-free with two birdies. She is tied for 23rd place.

Making their UCF debuts, One Kashima and Mila Jurine each recorded a 74 (+2) to end the day T31. Kashima finished the round with an eagle on hole No. 9.

Katie Poots rounded out the lineup with a 78 (+6) and is currently tied for 53rd place.

The Black and Gold return to action at 8:35 a.m. on Tuesday for the second round of the ANNIKA Intercollegiate, starting on hole No. 10.
