ORLANDO – UCF volleyball and second-year head coach Jenny Maurer unveiled the complete 2024 schedule Thursday, featuring 12 home matches at The Venue.
The Knights’ 28-match ledger also features 10 matches against teams from last season’s NCAA Tournament field, including seven Big 12 foes and non-conference opponents Florida and Florida State.
As the power conferences expand and extend across multiple time zones, we are excited to be able to find great competition close to us while attracting teams from all over the country to our home.
Jenny Maurerhead coachThe Black and Gold make their season debut on Saturday, August 31 in Blacksburg, Virginia, as they match up against Virginia Tech. UCF will travel down to Charlotte, North Carolina, for its second match of the season against Charlotte on September 1.
UCF stays on the road the following week, as the squad heads an hour north to Stetson for a Thursday night matchup against the Hatters (Sept. 5). The Knights will face off against UNCW on Sept. 7 in a neutral site match in DeLand, Florida.
The Knights continue their road slate heading to Tallahassee for a two-day tournament against FAU (Sept. 14) and tournament host Florida State (Sept. 15).
The Knights host Nevada (Sept. 19 and 20) and Maryland (Sept. 21) for their home-opening weekend.
UCF will head to Gainesville on Saturday, Nov. 23, for an in-state matchup against Florida.
In Big 12 play, the Knights will travel to Kansas (Sept. 25), Kansas State (Sept. 27), Cincinnati (Oct. 5), West Virginia (Oct. 16), Texas Tech (Nov. 2), TCU (Nov. 7), Baylor (Nov. 9), Arizona (Nov. 27) and Arizona State (Nov. 29).
The Black and Gold host West Virginia (Oct. 2), Colorado (Oct. 9), Iowa State (Oct. 11), Kansas (Oct. 19), Houston (Oct. 30), BYU (Nov. 14), Utah (Nov. 16) and Kansas State (Nov. 20).
