by Jenna VanHoose

ORLANDO – Coming off a fifth consecutive NCAA Regional appearance and their first season in the Big 12 Conference, UCF women’s golf head coach Emily Marron announced the Knights 2023-24 season schedule on Thursday.

UCF will compete in four fall and five spring tournaments before the postseason. The Big 12 Championship will be April 15-17 at Houston Oaks Country Club in Hockley, Texas.

The Knights are scheduled to play tournaments in seven different states including two tournaments in the Midwest.

The Knights will tee off their fall slate at the prestigious Annika Intercollegiate hosted by Minnesota from Sept. 9-11 at Royal Golf Club in Lake Elmo, Minnesota.

Three weeks later, UCF travels to Chicago for the Illini Women’s Invitational, hosted by Illinois at Medinah Country Club.

Following an 11-day hiatus, the Knights head to Knoxville, Tennessee, to tee it up in the Merecedes-Benz Intercollegiate hosted by Tennessee from Oct. 20-22 at Cherokee County Club. The Black and Gold will stay on the road to wrap up their fall slate as they head to Wilmington, North Carolina, for the Landfall Tradition hosted by UNCW from Oct. 25-27 at the Landfall Country Club. This will be the Black and Gold’s 10th consecutive appearance in the Landfall Tradition, excluding the COVID-shortened 2020-21 season.

To kick off their spring slate, the Knights host the UCF Challenge at Eagle Creek Country Club from Feb. 2-4.

UCF will continue its stay in the Sunshine State as they head to Melbourne for the Moon Golf Invitational hosted by Louisville at Suntree Country Club from Feb. 16-18. The Knights travel to Gainesville for the Gators Invitational hosted by Florida March 7-9.

Roughly a week after its Florida stint, UCF heads to Augusta, Georgia, for the Valspar Invitational hosted by Augusta University at Forest Hills Country Club from March 15-16.

To wrap up the regular season, the Knights travel to Dallas for the Veritex Bank Collegiate from April 7-8.

UCF begins postseason play at the Big 12 Championship, hosted at Houston Oaks Country Club in Hockley, Texas, from April 15-17.

The Knights are coming off a 2023-24 season in which they posted an overall record of 102-48-4 with seven top-five finishes marking the most since the 2013-14 season, highlighted by two team titles (Evie Odom Invitational and Merecedes-Benz Intercollegiate).
