Men's Golf Adds Transfer Felix Schrott

by Jenna VanHoose

ORLANDO- UCF men’s golf head coach Bryce Wallor announced Monday the addition of transfer Felix Schrott to the 2024-25 roster. Schrott joins the Knights following three seasons at California State University Northridge where he earned four top-10 finishes this past season with a scoring average of 71.24.

We feel extremely fortunate to be adding a player of Felix’s athletic and academic pedigree to our program next fall. Felix Schrott comes to us as an experienced student-athlete with a career scoring average of 71.75, while earning All-Big West Conference honors in each of his three seasons of competition. Not only has Felix won individually on the college level, but he is also a GCAA Academic All-American. We feel that this positive experience both in the classroom and on the golf course will serve our program well due to his leadership as a fifth-year graduate-student.

As a senior at CSUN, Schrott earned All-Big West First Team honors where he marked his lowest scoring season with the Matadors. He put together his best performance of the season at the Vanharte Orange County College carding 12-under in three rounds of play to finish in first place. He shot a 6-under 64 with seven birdies and closed out the final two rounds carding a 67.

Schrott, a two-time All-Big West Second Team honoree, averaged par or better throughout his junior and sophomore seasons, 71.73 and 72.41, respectively.

A native of Bolzano, Italy, Schrott is pursuing a degree in business and comes to UCF as a graduate transfer.
