ORLANDO – Brad Woodrick, who has served as the boathouse director for the last 10 years with the UCF rowing team, has retired, head coach Mara Allen announced Monday afternoon.

“I’m so thankful to have had Brad on staff in my first year with the program,” Allen said. “He’s been a fixture in the rowing community for decades. We will miss him here, but we’re excited for him to get some well-deserved rest in his retirement.”

In his time with the Knights, the Princeton, New Jersey, native aided the team to five conference titles and five NCAA Championship appearances.

Woodrick spent 26 years as the Princeton Tigers’ boathouse director and was a part of every national championship competing team from 1994-2012.

He previously worked with USRowing from 1997-2000 and was a part of USRowing for three world championships and served as a boatman for the United States National Team in the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.
