UCF student-athletes have extended their record-setting streak in the classroom to 33 consecutive semesters with a departmental grade-point average of 3.0 or better—including 10 consecutive semesters with a 3.3 or higher mark.
The Knights compiled a combined 3.42 GPA in the 2024 spring semester, which is tied for the highest semester GPA in program history.
More than 75% of student-athletes posted a GPA of 3.0 or higher in the spring semester—and 63 earned a perfect 4.0 GPA.
The academic statistics are based on 398 student-athletes listed on UCF rosters this past semester with 140 named to the Dean’s List, 109 tabbed to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and 44 student-athletes on the President’s List.
UCF has posted a department-wide GPA of 3.3 or better 10 consecutive semesters. The Knights have not turned in a semester below a 3.0 since fall 2007. The top 12 semester marks in school history have come over the last 14 semesters, as the Knights continued to win championships in their fields of competition.
The women’s tennis team posted the highest overall GPA in UCF sports history with a 3.82. The Knights’ men's golf team recorded the highest GPA of UCF men's programs this spring with a 3.50 semester mark. The men’s soccer, men’s tennis and baseball teams were right behind, each with a 3.31 GPA. The baseball team’s mark is the highest in a spring semester, while the program is in season.
UCF’s women’s basketball team logged its second-highest semester GPA in program history with a 3.44 and the women’s soccer team recorded its second-highest mark during head coach Tiffany Roberts-Sahaydak’s tenure (3.54). Additionally, the track and field program tallied its second highest GPA in its spring competition season, also with a 3.44.
