HOUSTON – Sunday’s series finale between UCF and Houston has been canceled due to inclement weather in the Houston area. It will not be made up.
Despite having Sunday’s finale washed out, the Knights claimed their fifth Big 12 Conference series of the season by taking the first two games of the series by scores of 4-1 and 6-4. After going 2-0 on the weekend, UCF now holds a 29-15 overall record and a 11-12 Big 12 clip with two league series remaining.
The Knights will now return home to open their final homestand of the season Wednesday against in-state foe North Florida. UCF will then host Texas for the first time in program history next weekend for a three-game Big 12 series. The Black and Gold will play their final home game on, Tuesday, May 14 when Bethune-Cookman visits John Euliano Park.
