ORLANDO – Tuesday’s 2024 UCF baseball home finale against Bethune-Cookman has been canceled due to inclement weather. It will not be made up.
With the cancelation, the Knights will now head to Waco, Texas, to conclude their regular-season with a three-game Big 12 series at Baylor Thursday to Saturday at Baylor Ballpark. UCF will enter the series with a 31-17 overall record and having clinched a spot to compete at next week’s 2024 Phillips 66 Big 12 Baseball Championship, as it is currently in ninth place in the league standings with a 12-14 conference mark. The Big 12 Championship will take place May 21-25 at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.
Also, with Tuesday’s home finale washed out, UCF concludes its 2024 home record with a 21-9 clip at John Euliano Park and an impressive 11-1 mark in midweek games as well as 13-2 against Sunshine State foes.
