Women's Golf Concludes Round Two at Big 12 Championship

HOCKLEY, Texas – The UCF women’s golf team completed round two of the Big 12 Championship on Friday at Houston Oaks Country Club.

Through 36 holes, the Knights (+26) are in 11th place and will enter tomorrow one shot back of cracking the top 10. UCF will be paired with TCU for the final round of the tournament.

Two Knights sit in the top 30 led by Pimpisa “Sandwich” Sisutham who is tied for 11th with a score of 144 (+2). She shot a round two score of 72 (+1) today at Houston Oaks Country Club. Molly Smith carded a 1-over 72 to finish the day T25 and a 36-hole score of 147 (+5).

Separated two strokes away from Smith, Jess Baker recorded a 74 (+3) to tie for 35th place. The senior has a 36-hole score of 149 (+7). She led the team with four birdies on the day.

The final two in the lineup feature Brittany Shin in T49 and Katie Poots in 61st place.

The Black and Gold head into the last round of their debut in the Big 12 Championship with a 9:15 a.m. tee time Saturday.
