BOSTON - In her final NCAA Indoor Championships, Rayniah Jones garnered her eighth career All-America honor Friday night at The Track at New Balance.
Jones continues her historic career with yet another accolade at the highest level of collegiate track and field.
Competing in heat two, Jones clocked an 8.78 in lane five to finish 15th. After a strong start out of the blocks, she fell following the final hurdle just before the finish line.
The second-team honor marks her fourth at the NCAA Championships and second consecutive at the Indoor Championships. With four All-America honors each at indoors and outdoors, Jones will look to complete her final collegiate campaign in style during the second half of 2024.
With the indoor season concluded, UCF will shift focus to outdoor as its set to host back-to-back meets to open the season. The Black and Gold Invitational from March 15-16 at the UCF Track and Field Complex will be Knight nation's first chance to see the Knights as Big 12 members. A week later, UCF will play host to the Knights Invite from March 22-23.
