ORLANDO – Following a strong showing at the ECU Intercollegiate last weekend, the UCF men’s golf team travels to Mobile, Alabama, this weekend to compete in the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate hosted by South Alabama. The three-day, 54-hole event will be held at the Magnolia Grove Golf Course, which is a  par-71, 7,239-yard course.

UCF tees off starting at 8:20 a.m. Sunday morning from hole No. 1. The teams play 18 holes each day of the tournament, which concludes Tuesday.

The Knights will be joined in the 14-team field by Dayton, DePaul, Eastern Kentucky, Eastern Michigan, Georgia State, Illinois State, Loyola Chicago, Loyola Maryland, Oral Roberts, South Alabama (host), Texas State, Valparaiso and Western Kentucky.

Hans Risvaer, Egor Eroshenko, Chase Haygood, Gustav Anderson and Cooper Tate will represent the Knights at the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate, while Garret Ebbert will compete as an individual.

This lineup was made by a coach’s selection for each spot in the lineup. The decision was based off the totality of each player's World Amateur Golf Ranking, UCF tournament play, UCF practice evaluation rounds, daily team range practice, team workouts, attitude, academic standing, and overall effort/results.

Magnolia Grove was recently named one of the "Top 50 Public Courses" by Golf World Magazine readers. The Crossings and Falls courses are also listed in Golf Digest's "Places to Play" as two of the nation's Great Value courses and as "America's Top 50 Affordable Courses."
