ORLANDO – The UCF women’s golf team heads to Gainesville, Florida to play in the Gators Invitational hosted by University of Florida. The tournament, which has been adjusted due to potential inclement weather on Sunday, will be held at Mark Bostick Golf Course Friday, March 1 and Saturday, March 2.

The teams will play 36 holes Friday and 18 holes Saturday, with shotgun start at 10:30 a.m on Friday. Saturday’s time will be decided following the conclusion of play on Friday.

The Knights will be joined by Florida (host), Arizona, Campbell, Charleston, Clemson, FAU, FIU, Miami, Michigan, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Ole Miss and Toledo.

Founded in 1921, the Mark Bostick Golf Course serves as the home course for the Florida Gators women’s and men's golf teams. PGA players including Billy Horschel, Matt Every and Andy North also call this course home.

The Knights lineup will feature Katie Poots, Molly Smith, Pimpisa “Sandwich” Sisutham, Jess Baker and Brittany Shin.

This will be the 52nd Gators Invitational and marks the Black and Gold's 16th appearance in the tournament. Last year, the Knights tied for second place with Mississippi State. Sisutham went on to earn her first collegiate win with a two-round score of 133 followed by a three-hole playoff between Florida’s Maisie Filler.
