ORLANDO – For the third consecutive season, seven-time All-American Rayniah Jones has qualified for the 2024 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships, announced by USTFCCCA Tuesday evening. Hosted at The Track at New Balance in Boston, Massachusetts, from March 7-9, Jones qualified in the 60m hurdles alongside 13 other athletes as she’ll be representing UCF on the national stage once again.
The qualifying performance comes from her 7.95 in the finals of the Tiger Paw Invite in Clemson, South Carolina, earlier this month. With a first-place finish and her first sub-eight time since the Indoor Championships in 2022, Jones currently ranks 5th in the NCAA in the event.

At the program’s inaugural Big 12 Indoor Championships, Jones placed second in the 60m hurdles to garner the Knights eight points, the most by an individual athlete on the squad in Lubbock, Texas.
For Jones, the qualification marks seven consecutive NCAA Championships dating back to the 2021 Outdoor Championships where she eventually secured silver in the 100m hurdles. Since then, the Miami native has appeared in the 2022 and 2023 Indoor editions, including a third-place finish in 2022, her best finish to date.
A year ago, she took home second-team honors in both the 60m and 100m hurdles at each National Championships.
Jones will begin her weekend on Friday at 8:05 p.m. ET with the prelims, with the goal of qualifying for the finals on Saturday at 7:40 p.m. ET. The Indoor Championships will be hosted on the ESPN family of networks.
