PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. – The UCF men’s golf team completed the first two rounds of play at the Sea Best Invitational Monday, as the Knights own a team score of 596 (+36) after the first 36 holes at TPC Sawgrass – Dye’s Valley.
UCF had a tough first round with a 303 (+23), but quickly made the adjustment to course, recording a 293 (+13) in round two. The Black and Gold are tied for 13th on the team leaderboard, while Florida (562, +2), North Florida (569, +9) and Louisville (574, +14) comprise the top three.
Senior Egor Eroshenko and freshman Hans Risvaer led the Knights on the first day of action in 2024, both carding a 146 (+6) to tie for 30th on the player leaderboard. Eroshenko fired a 77 (+7) in the opening round, but was stellar in the second round with a 69 (-1). Risvaer shot a 73 (+3) in both rounds.
Risvaer dropped in six birdies, while Eroshenko tallied five.
