Jerry and Susan Roth, long-time advocates and leadership donors to UCF Athletics, recently made a significant cash commitment in support of UCF Football, specifically for the future construction of the Hagle Football Gateway project, which includes McNamara Cove, a new Football Operations building, a renovated Wayne Densch Sports Center, Nicholson Plaza and an enhanced football practice complex.
According to Vice President and Director of Athletics, Terry Mohajir, “The loyalty and financial support from the Roth Family over the last 40 years has literally helped build UCF Athletics. The Roth Tower of FBC Mortgage Stadium and the Roth Athletics Center have been game-changing projects that they have delivered through their charitable leadership. We are very grateful of the Roth family.”
“The Roths are incredible supporters of UCF Athletics’ mission and vision, and we appreciate their continued generosity to UCF,” said UCF President Alexander N. Cartwright. “On behalf of our student-athletes, coaches, and all of Knight Nation, we offer our sincere thank you to Jerry and Susan for their commitment to moving our football program forward.”
"Our family has supported the Knights for more than four decades and have enjoyed being investors in the program’s remarkable growth and transformation from a fledgling Division II program into the Big 12 Conference. The momentum and future possibilities are very exciting. We invite others to join us in fueling the Mission XII vision,” remarked Jerry and Susan Roth.
“We’re so thankful to the Roths for their continuous support. This gift is a true game-changer for our program, both now and for the future of our University and UCF Football,” said head coach Gus Malzahn.
